The Think Transatlantic Essay Contest aims at encouraging students to compose well-thought-out and detailed arguments in essay form on a current subject concerning the transatlantic US-German and European partnership. The Think Transatlantic campaign aims to increase awareness of the importance and stability, as well as the chances and challenges, of a U.S.-German, as well as European partnership over the last 60 years and the relevance of a transatlantic partnership in the future. In their essays students should discuss the numerous aspects of the transatlantic partnership as well as its history and future challenges. This contest is open only to students enrolled in classes at USF in Fall 2012. The due date for student submissions is Monday, Nov. 12. Winners will be announced at reception on Nov. 27, 2012.
