The day-long conference, “China and India: Past Connections and a Shared Future,” is co-sponsored with the USF World, Center for India Studies, and Asian Alliance. Conference registration is free, but online registration is required, at

There will be three nationally known keynotes speaking on the following topics:

  • The development and transformation of Buddhism from India to China
  • Religion and trade exchanges in ancient India and China
  • China-India relations in the 21st century

The conference includes a special performance of Chinese and Indian classical music, and free lunch to the first 200 registered participants.
