Celebrate the legacy of Spanish Philosopher and poet, Maria Zambrano (1904 – 1991) who was a part of the Generation 36 movement, a group of influential Spanish writers, artists and poets during the Spanish Civil War. Zambrano studied under influential philosophers such as Jose Ortega y Gasset.

Today, her writings are considered the best in Spanish thought. Zambrano was awarded the prestigious Prince of Asturias Award and an honorary Doctoral Degree from the University of Malaga for her contribution to the fields of Communications and Humanities.

Participants will discuss the influences of her writings in the Contemporary Philosophy field. The goal of this forum is to inspire attendees to make a difference for the betterment of society. This is a three day event. For a list of events and to  RSVP visit http://bit.ly/ZambranoUSF.
