Moliere (1622-1673) was a French actor and playwright and is considered a master in comedy in Western literature. His most famous works include Le Misanthrope and L’Avare to name a few. Professor Frankel of the College of the Arts will lecture on both his research methods and the final research product in his innovative staging of Moliere. Researching and staging Moliere has been a longtime feature of Professor Frankel's professional career.
