The USF World Center for Strategic & Diplomatic Studies would like to invite you to attend an event with Ambassador John Beyrle, who served as an American diplomat for more than three decades in foreign postings and domestic assignments focused on Central Asia and Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union, and Russia. He was twice appointed ambassador: to Bulgaria (2005-2008) and to Russia (2002-2012). He will participate in the Center’s “Conversation Series on Global Security,” and the topic of the conversation will be, “U.S.-Russia Relations in the Aftermath of the Crisis in the Ukraine: A New Cold War?” The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., in the Patel Center for Global Solutions Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
