USF World - Calendar Event Details
Title: Education Abroad Information Session: Argentina
Date: Mon. Sep 22, 2014
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Description:

Attend the Imagining Argentina 2015 information session to learn how you can travel to Buenos Aires and spend the summer immersed in Argentine culture. A walk through the streets reveals a mosaic of architectural styles; Buenos Aires is the port city, the tango city, and the city of endless cafes. Students will study issues that are relevant to Latin American language, cultural and literary production. USF's program in Buenos Aires offers courses in Intermediate Spanish Language, Spanish Conversation and Composition, Spanish for Health Sciences (depending on availability), and Literature and Politics in Latin America. Students will visit museums, art galleries, and the theater. Dr. Pablo Brescia, USF Department of World Languages, is a native of Buenos Aires, will lead the program in July 2015.
