This course will be held on Wednesdays from February 3 to 24, 2016.

China is known for having the world's longest continuous civilization. This course will provide a brief historical overview of Chinese cultures, including belief and value systems, the arts, and regional and ethnic diversity. Through illustrated lectures and discussions, participants will come away with a better understanding of the changing patterns of Chinese civilization.

The course is taught by Kun Shi, USF's Confucius Institute Director, and provided by a partnership between the Confucius Institute and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). For more information and to register for this OLLI class, visit www.usfseniors.org.
