Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is increasingly accepted by the American academics and general public. It is not only effective in treating disease, particularly chronic symptoms, but also for health improvement and prevention.

Co-sponsored by the USF World and OLLI, this lecture by Dr. Tian will introduce TCM and its effects on health improvement, including a self massage session for everyone to participate. The event is free but parking is on your own. Seating is limitted in the Patel Center Auditorium (225 seats on first-come first-serve basis). Dr. Tian earned his M.A. and Ph.D. at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced and taught TCM at the Tampa Bay region for the past two decades, and is the current president of the American TCM Association and American Institute of TCM.
