Post-Earthquake Haiti: Perspectives from a Front Line Recovery Agent

The School of Social Work in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences present Colonel Noberto R. Cintron who will be presenting his 2010 recovery mission of American citizens (and Haitian nationals) from the Montana hotel in Port-au--Prince. The presentation will emphasize the resilience of members of the armed forces, as well as the emotional cost of service. The focus of Colonel Cintron's talk will be the recovery efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti, his role in it, its impact on him, and perhaps the U.S.'s plans for involvement in Haiti in the future.
