This is an interactive workshop designed to assist USF students and scholars who are in F-1 or J-1 visa status to use GLACIER Tax Prep to prepare their 2011 US Tax Forms. All participants should be prepared to complete tax forms during the workshop. Participants must bring all relevant documents to the workshop, including the following as pertains to the participants individual tax situation: 1) immigration documents, 2) evidence of current/prior visits to the US, 3) all W-2s from employment, if employed in 2011, 4) 1042-S form (if scholarship recipients and/or tax treaty benefits). The workshop will not provide tax advice. Students and scholars who qualify as residents for tax purposes cannot use this tax software and should not sign up for this workshop.
