Qingdao University

Qingdao University is located in on the eastern coast of China's Shandong Province. It has working a relationship with the Chinese language program at USF, and recently became the partner to jointly operate the Confucius Institute.

Qingdao University was founded in 1924, and significantly expanded in 1993. Today, it has 32,300 undergraduate students, 6,400 graduate students, and 1,000 international students. It has 2,300 faculty and lab technicians, of whom there are 310 professors and 663 associate professors. (It has two very strong colleges: Medical School and Teachers College.) The main campus of Qingdao University is located at 308 Ningxia Road, Qingdao, Shandong, P.R.C., 266071.
