For your Safety and Success

USF Crisis Information and resources has information on counseling services and general mental well being. It also has great tips on dealing with stress especially during finals!
Also a good person to talk to would be your R.A (resident advisor) who lives in your dorm building and is there for anything you may need help with. Trust me, they are all students themselves, you are able to talk to them about anything and they are there to help.

If for some reason a student is stranded somewhere with no money and cannot get home, have no fear as there is the Emergency Ride Home program in place for that very reason! Just go online and register.

USF’s Safe Team is a free escort service to and from any on-campus location from 7pm-2am each night and 8pm-1am during summer. Call 974-SAFE to get that ride.
University Police is available 24hrs/7 days a week and there are blue light phones dotted throughout campus for emergency use. Safety whistles are available at the Marshall Center Info desk for pick up. You must sign a contract saying you will not abuse the whistle.
A very important note: The drinking age in America is 21, and it is a rule that is enforced very strongly. While you may be allowed into establishments 18 and over, you will NOT be allowed to drink. If you are underage make sure that you check the age requirements of all establishments before you go to them.  Illegal Drug and alcohol use is punishable by immediate arrest and can result in deportation.
