Arrival Checklist for Incoming Exchange Students

1) |
Check-in to your dorm: Please see the main Housing Website for the most current arrival and check-in information. |
2) |
Check in and Schedule appointment with your Program Coordinator in Education Abroad, Patricia Smith, to review your final course registrations in Cooper Hall 468. |
3) |
Check-in at International Services in Cooper Hall 469 during a scheduled check-in time. Bring your passport, visa form, and I-94 entry card. |
4) |
Attend International Student Orientation and Exchange Information Session as detailed in your DS2019 welcome packet. |
5) |
Get a Student ID in Marshall Center 1505 (you may pay for your ID with a credit card for the cost of $10.00) |
6) |
Open an e-mail account in the Library, room 608, or visit the Academic Computing Website |
7) |
Check-in at Student Health Services and verify your Immunization status is complete [SHS] |
8) |
Pay for insurance at the Insurance Office (required) [located below the Bookstore – SHS] |
9) |
Buy textbooks and supplies [Bookstore] next to the Marshall Student Center |
10) |
Schedule a campus tour Tour USF |
11) |
Open a bank account (USF Credit Union is recommended), located in the Marshall Center or at the main office at the back of campus. |
12) |
Sign up for special trips if interested through the Recreation Department |
13) |
When you settle into your room, find a SAFE PLACE for your passport |
