“I have spent the most intense 6 months of my life in Tampa…and I have loved every exhilarating moment!  I arrived here on New Years Day quivering with anticipation of what my first time in the United States was going to bring me, and I have yet to quell that feeling. I am from Cyprus, an Island in the Mediterranean and I am currently a senior at a University in London, and I had the magnificent opportunity to spend a semester abroad at USF. I jumped at the chance and I believe it to be the best decision I have made so far!  I enjoy the wonderment that comes with being immersed completely into new cultures; even preferring when the glamour of the tourist attractions in Florida is stripped away, and the true essence remains, this is when the real journey begins. Once this happens, you can practically taste the enchantment of Tampa while exploring. As well as introducing me to some of my best friends who will always be in my life, my independent spirit has been awaked; my thirst for knowledge of the unknown has been cultivated and will never be satisfied unless fed. Every day has been a blessing and I look forward to experiencing whatever tomorrow will bring! I have compiled a list of places and things to do that I enjoyed immensely as well as inside information to make your transition into a fully fledged Bull as painless as possible! Bear in mind this list only skims the surface of things to experience here. I am sure that by the end of your stay you will be compiling your own list! I am more than happy to introduce new people to the wonderful places that I have been lucky enough to frequent, and they are all local places, shown to me by Tampa natives, so be prepared for authentic Southern hospitality! It’s priceless!”
