12 USF Students Awarded Gilman Scholarship for Summer 2015

From Costa Rica to South Korea, 12 undergraduate students will travel to all corners of the world this summer for a range of study abroad programs after they were each awarded a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. Spring 2010 Gilman Scholarship Recipients Announced
December 7, 2010

Hannah Feig and Gianexis Lopez, USF students won Gilman Scholarships to study abroad for Spring 2010.  Gilman Scholars receive up to $5,000 to apply towards their study abroad program costs. There were only 850 Gilman Scholars selected out of 2,900 applicants nationally.

Ms. Feig, an Engineering major and Honors College student, was awarded the Gilman Scholarship to study in Senegal. Ms. Lopez, a Criminology major, will be studying in Italy.  All recipients are required to carry out a Follow-on Project to share information about the Gilman program within their university and community.
