USF President Judy Genshaft Honored with Global Vision and Education Award
October 12, 2015

Next month,  USF System President Judy Genshaft will be honored for her global vision and cultural understanding at the 6th Annual Atlantic Institute Peace & Dialogue Awards Dinner, hosted by the Atlantic Institute’s Tampa Bay Branch, in partnership with the Istanbul Cultural Center at Tampa Bay.

The Peace & Dialogue Awards Dinner is an opportunity for community leaders of all cultures, backgrounds, faiths, and professions to share their views on a selected topic, this year highlighting “The Role of Education in Fostering Mutual Respect Across Global Civilizations.”

It is also the Atlantic Institute’s honor to publicly recognize influential community leaders who actively promote cultural understanding and diversity in their organizations and communities.  It is the hope that the public recognition will encourage the recipients to continue their efforts and lead others to similar activities and projects advancing a more peaceful relationship between our communities and nations.
