Dance Event by Federation of India Association

The Center for India Studies and the Federation of India Association presented a traditional India dance event on October 7, 2012 at the USF Marshall Student Center. The audience was enthralled to experience the vibrant, traditional dance styles of India on the USF campus. This rich collection of performances included classical folk, tribal, martial, religious and social forms of dance. Highly skilled artists focused on Kuchipudi, Odissi, Kathak, and Bharatnatyam which are different Indian dance styles. The artists who mesmerized the audience with their dance forms were Shibani Pattnaik, Kamala Reddy,Sudeshna Maulik and Tara Priyadarshini Bikkasani.
