CI Completes Summer Class on ‘Religious Beliefs in China’

With support from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) and University Village staff, the CI has completed a four-week class on “Religious Beliefs in China” for senior citizens in the Tampa Bay area. This is the third time we have offered an OLLI class (taught by CI Director Kun Shi) and enrollment for this class reached an all-time high of 52. (Read More…)

Confucius Institute Named ‘Magnificent CI’
June 22, 2012

China’s Office of Chinese Language Council International ‘Hanban’ has recognized the University of South Florida Confucius Institute as a ‘Magnificent CI’. This recognition has been given to a total of only 15 CIs worldwide, three of which are in the United States. Hanban has awarded the USF Confucius Institute this title for its outstanding work in academia at the university and high school levels, and for its commendable community outreach since its inception in 2007.

Chinese Dragon Boat Festival
