Chinese Bridge Competition to be held at USF on March 25
February 23, 2011
USF Confucius Institute will host the second Chinese Bridge Competition on March 25 (Friday), 2011 at the Patel Center on Tampa campus (Parking Map). If you have high school and college students who want to participate in this competition, please complete the application form (doc)(pdf), and e-mail the completed forms to Chinese@usf.edu by February 27 (Sunday). We plan to host the competition during 10:00am to 2:00pm on March 25, depending on the number of contestants. We will confirm with all applicants and their mentor teachers by e-mail on March 1.
Please be reminded that each student will need a mentor teacher, or a few students can share one. Each applicant needs to prepare three sections (presentation, talent performance, and Q&A), each about 5 minutes long. The judges will not include teachers whose students participate in the competition. For more information about the Chinese Bridge Competition, please visit: http://www.hanban.org/chinesebridge.
Sample test items for the 2010 Chinese Bridge Competition are available at Sample Test.
