Exeter University, UK is Partnering with USF and Offering Scholarships
March 1, 2011
In a recent collaboration, USF’s Office of Education Abroad added Exeter University to its wide range of summer programs in the United Kingdom. Over 150 years old and home to over 17,000 students, Exeter is also the alma mater of USF’s own Provost Ralph Wilcox. Rated in the top 10 universities by the National Student Survey, Exeter offers USF students a summer program where they can earn course credit in five diverse tracks: climate change, life and environmental sciences, international management, law and Shakespeare. Students enrolled in the program will take classes, live in campus accommodation and engage with students from different educational and ethnic backgrounds.
“What is amazing about this program is that our students will have the opportunity to get a balanced academic and cultural experience. Apart from us, Exeter partners with international universities across the world,” says Jim Pulos, assistant director of USF’s Education Abroad office. He emphasizes that Exeter’s reach will enable USF students to meet and interact with not only students from England, but those studying at Exeter from countries across the globe.
In addition, Exeter University is offering two £500 scholarships to USF students, which translates to approximately $800. For more information on program costs and the application process, click here.
