Math & Science Majors Needed in Guyana
March 23, 2011
Here’s your chance to change the world. WorldTeach (http://www.worldteach.org/), a non-profit organization based at Harvard University, is currently seeking graduating Math and Science majors to teach and address the severe brain drain in these subjects in Guyana. World Teach is recruiting volunteers to serve for one academic year, starting in August, as teachers in Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics at some of the best public secondary schools in Guyana, one of the poorest nations on the South American continent. These teachers would be providing instruction in sought-after subjects that would otherwise go untaught. An informational flier about the program can be found here.
