Call For Papers: 3rd International Conference on Information Capital, Property, & Ethics

Scholars and professionals interested in intellectual property issues, information studies, and international politics are invited to participate by contributing a paper or attending the conference.

Conference Venue Sun Yat-sen University (South campus), Guangzhou, China
The theme of the conference is “Information Policies and Ethics of Information Rights.” The objective is to strengthen international academic and cultural exchange in the information studies discipline, and to promote information ethics in the knowledge service profession. The Conference brings together scholars from Europe, USA, Canada, China Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and China Taiwan to discuss issue related to the globalization of intellectual property and the attendant geopolitics, as well as the ethics of information and information rights.
It is expected that high quality papers will emerge from this conference, and that it will lead to our increased understanding of the dynamics of information capital as represented by intellectual property, and how geopolitics affect information ethics. It is also expected that lasting and productive linkages will be developed among the participating scholars from various parts of the world.
