CI Lecture Series for Spring 2012 Completed
May 11, 2012

Each semester, the CI sponsors three lectures on Chinese culture and US-China relations. Many of the past CI lectures were reported individually and saved in the archived news on the CI website.

During the Spring semester this year, we had three speakers presenting on the following topics.

  • Personal Perspectives on US-China Relations (by Dr. Hsiang-Te Kung, University of Memphis), February 23 at 5:00-6:00pm, Patel Center Auditorium
  • China: Making Contact – Contemporary Art of China (by Jia Aili from Beijing and Austin Powers), March 7 at 5:00-6:30pm, USF Graphic Studio
  • Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (by Dr. Haihe Tian of Acupuncture Physicians in St. Petersburg), April 26 at 6:00-7:00pm, College of Public Health Auditorium

The lectures benefited the USF students learning Chinese as well as other students and community members interested in knowing more about China.
