USF World Attends 64th Annual NAFSA Conference

The National Association of Foreign Student Advisers (NAFSA) held its 64th Annual Conference in Houston, Texas from May 27th to June 1st, 2012. The conference was attended by representatives from USF World, International Services and Education Abroad.

Education Abroad Program Coordinator Rene Sanchez’s joint presentation with a colleague from Georgia State was first selected as a regional highlight for the South-Eastern conference, and then selected for presentation at the national level.

This is the fifth year in succession that presenters from USF International Services and Education Abroad have received recognition for outstanding presentations. Additionally, USF World participated in the 2012 International Education Celebration video contest.

The NAFSA Annual Conference is attended every year by over 8,500 professionals in international education. The conference hosts five days of intense training workshops, educational sessions, networking opportunities and special events for professionals working in international education.
