2012 International Photo Competition
August 17, 2012
The fall semester is almost here and that can only mean one thing – International Photo Competition!
For the last six years, USF World has received anywhere between 200 and 400 entries from USF students, faculty, staff and alumni that celebrate cross-cultural exchange. So whether you just got back from an exchange program or you’re an international student at USF, pick your best photographs from abroad, fill out the application and get them to us before October 12, 2012.
What’s in it for you? A chance to win the public vote for the USF Favorite category, recognition across USF campuses, use of your photographs in USF’s international marketing materials, a Certificate of Recognition for winning in your category and prizes from the USF Bookstore.
What’s more, your pictures will be judged by photographic professionals Noel Smith, Curator of Latin American and Caribbean Art and Curator of Education for the USF Contemporary Art Museum and Graphicstudio; Chip Weiner, Creative Loafing photojournalist and instructor at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts; and Ryan Mitchell, 2011’s International Photo Competition Grand Prize Winner and avid traveler.
