German American Chamber of Commerce Opens a Chapter in Florida

The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States, Inc. has opened a chapter in Florida. To celebrate, the chapter is hosting a reception at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Sponsored in part by USF World, faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend the grand opening where there will be opportunities to network with various industry and community leaders. Speakers and honored guests include dignitaries from the German Embassy, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Max Planck Florida Foundation, Enterprise Florida, GACC South, and SunTrust Bank. Speakers will discuss the chapter’s various initiatives, activities, and projects, as well as how to get involved as the chapter expands its reach to support the German-American industry throughout the state.
