CIS Fundraiser at the Reddy Home
September 12, 2009

The USF Center for India Studies had its first fundraiser hosted by Dr. Purushottam and Viji Reddy at their family home in Tarpon Springs on Sept. 12, 2009. At the fundraiser Dr. Gurleen Grewal, Director of the Center for India Studies, introduced the Center to members of the community inviting ideas and participation. Also addressing the audience that evening were Dr. Maria Crummett, Dean of International Affairs; Dr. Tapas Das, Associate Provost at the University of South Florida; and Dr. Lynette Menezes, Director of International Affairs, College of Medicine. The event was a huge success for the Center initiating collaborations and opening several avenues to bring in community participation at USF through the Center.
