Mira Sagar on Community and the Art of Handloom Weaving

Mira Sagar, a member of REHWA society in India, spoke at USF on Sept. 3. She discussed the role of REHWA, a not-for-profit organization in India, and its importance in sustaining the ancient art of handloom weaving. Sagar also explained how the skill has provided the local community with a livelihood and with an entity that is exclusively theirs.
