Second Annual Fulbright Breakfast Honors USF Scholars

Last Friday, November 2, 2012, the University of South Florida’s Fulbright recipients were honored at the second annual Fulbright Breakfast. This event, acknowledging faculty, students and scholars conducting research in more than ten different countries, kicked off the November International Education Month celebration.
Fulbright scholars, Dr. Heide Castañeda and Dr. John Petrila, gave presentations showcasing their research and experiences during their stay in Germany and the Netherlands, respectively. The scholars were joined by Senior Vice President for Global Affairs and International Research, Dr. Karen Holbrook, USF President Judy Genshaft, and former USF President and current member of the Fulbright Board, Betty Castor who each offered welcoming remarks.
