Swaralaya Concert

The large appreciative audience enjoyed an evening of classical South Indian music by Swaralaya, the Carnatic Music Organization of Tampa Bay, in collaboration with Center for India Studies. Swaralaya presented artists, Sangita Kalanidhi, Padmabhushan Vidwan, and Tiruvar Baktavatsalam, playing the Mridangam (an ancient percussion instrument) and Shri VVS Murari on the violin at College of Public Health Auditorium on October 14, 2012. The concert celebrated the rich cultural history of classical Indian music.
