USF Welcomes His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal

USF was pleased to host His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal, as he spent the day talking with students, greeting faculty, and discussing global cooperation. Former Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States (2005 – 2007), His Royal Highness is now being considered for the position of Foreign Minister in Saudi Arabia. He is one of the founders of the King Faisal Foundation and is the Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies in Riyadh.

Dr. Ralph Wilcox, USF Provost served as host for the day’s events which included; a serenade from the USF marching band, a student parade of flags, an open address to the USF community, a private luncheon, and special performances by the USF Saudi  Student Association.
