USF World to Host Forum Dedicated to Growing Global Research
February 3, 2014

USF World will host an AIEA-sponsored, interactive forum: Developing Institutional Strategies for Growing Global Research, April 6-8. Senior leadership from universities across the globe will converge to discuss institutional strategies for promoting international research on their respective campuses. In addition to the administrative workshops, the forum will offer faculty and students an opportunity to learn about international funding sources from representatives from more than twenty agencies and organizations.

The international funding agency open house is scheduled from 9:30 to 11:30am on Tuesday, April 8th in the Patel Center for Global Solutions.  This unique event is free and open to all students, faculty and staff.  Tuesday afternoon is dedicated to concurrent informational presentations from each participating organization with a Q&A period at the conclusion of each session. Learn more about funding opportunities available from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Program for Research and Innovation, from China’s National Natural Science Foundation – the equivalent of the U.S. National Science Foundation, the National Research Foundation of South Africa, and many more.
