The Indian International Film Academy Comes to Tampa & is Looking for Volunteers
March 18, 2014

The Indian International Film Academy festival (IIFA) is hosting a weekend of events from April 22nd-26th and is in need of student volunteers.  Often called the “Bollywood Oscars”, this experience will give students the opportunity to experience a global event first hand. The student volunteers, or Friends of IIFA, have the opportunity to interact and partake in a variety of major specific tasks including media briefings, project management, hospitality and more. The full list can be found in the details document below. This is the first year that the event has been hosted in the United States.

Volunteers are screened in order to adequately place them in relevant locations. The IIFA Weekend volunteer program is split into different areas across the activities and events program. IIFA aims to place people in relevant areas and aspects of the project according to program of study, experience or interests.
